3 million HP DesignJet printers in 25 years
HP launched it’s net inkjet large format DesignJet printer in 1991. The machine replaced pen plotters and revolutionized the way architects and engineers designed large format technical drawings. The original monochrome model made printing easier, faster and cheaper. Later on new colour models came to market and made new applications such as printing of GIS maps. These printers were faster and the quality of the prints was higher. Worldwide more than 3 million of these HP DesignJet printers have been sold.
To celebrate this milestone HP invites clients to participate in the “My HP DesignJet and Me” challenge. HP DesignJet owners can register between 20 June and 10 October via this link.
