Kodak introduces world´s fastest monochrome production printer

Kodak says to have introduced the world´s fastest monochrome printer, the new Prosper 1000 Plus. The Prosper 1000 Plus can print up to 300 meters a minute with a width of up to 62,2 cm. That is 4,364 A4 pages a minute. The Prosper 1000 is powered by Kodak Stream Inkjet Technology which was also used for the Prosper 6000. Kodak has not only improved the speed of the production monster, but also reduced ink usage by 30%, which is an important cost aspect in the high volume market. The Prosper 1000 Plus will be available at the end of this year, Prosper 1000 users can upgrade to a Plus model.
