Business card transfers info to smart phone
The original paper business card is still important when networking, especially if it is beautifully printed and embossed. But since we have all contact information stored digitally it would be good if the info on a regular business card can be transferred to your smartphone. Moo has found a solution for this: business cards+, a business card with an NFC chip which can make a connection with your smartphone without having to use an app. By simply holding the business card close to an NFC suitable phone the chip will send the contact details to the phone, including websites and online portfolios. The UK company based in London has an online platform (Paper+) which allows customer to choose what they would like to have included in the exchange between business card and smartphone.
Moo uses NFC suitable paper manufactured by Arjowiggins and the electronics are printed onto the paper using silver ink. The business cards can be printed and finished in the usual way. Customers can choose different designs and upload their own photos and images. 20 visit cards cost 36 Euro (including the Paper+ platform).
