As a global provider of sublimation inks for transfer printing, J-Teck3’s technology spans an array of applications including, high fashion apparel and sportswear, home furnishing and display graphics. Inspiring examples of these high-quality, vivid applications will be displayed on the company’s stand at FESPA Digital 2016, from 8-11 March at Rai Amsterdam.
When it comes to producing quick-drying and durable products, the company’s direct-to-fabric disperse inks ensure that premium quality is maintained while time-efficiencies are not compromised.
“With more companies demanding durable, visually striking digital inks for a wide range of textile and graphic applications we are confident that our innovative portfolio, with its exceptional image definition on polyester and synthetic fabrics, is the number one solution for textile printers,” says Italo Mariani, Sales Director at J-Teck3.
“FESPA Digital is a fantastic opportunity to connect with our customers, existing and new, and demonstrate the wide variety of applications achievable with our market-leading inks.”
J-Teck3’s diverse portfolio compromises five collections including its next generation of digital inks, the J-Cube range, that includes vibrant colours and is tailored and fully compatible with printers equipped with Kyocera, Ricoh, Konica Minolta and Panasonic print heads.
The firm’s J-Cube RF and KF series, for sublimation-transfer printing, were launched at FESPA 2013 and are this year joined by the new direct-to-fabric versions.
The inks have been specially formulated for high-speed digital printers and were produced with the innovative Cluster Technology which involves ink molecules, consolidated into clusters, passing through the piezo print heads without alteration. This maintains supreme reliability and printability on digital industrial printers.
Specifically designed for Epson print heads, the J-Next is the company’s bestseller and offers a spectrum of vibrant, high-quality colours. This range includes the J-Next Subly Extra providing high-performance, eye-catching colour for coated and uncoated papers as well as the J-Next Print which incorporates disperse dye for printing directly onto polyester for high fashion and display graphics.
Last year at FESPA 2015 in Cologne, the Italian digital ink manufacturer showcased its J-Cube inks and its J-MelaniMine ink, for printing on melamine paper.
The ink prints on melamine paper which are made of thin paper layers saturated with different resins. After printing through a digital printer, they are used to produce panels and laminates and have a strong resistance to scratch and solvents.
Melamine panels and laminates are largely for use in the furniture and home decoration industry.
The ink, which is available in CMYK, offers strong light resistance and good colour saturation which can produce graphics with vivid and bright colours.
J-Teck3 is exhibiting at FESPA Digital 2016, from 8-11 March at Rai Amsterdam, in Hall 1, Stand G50.

Sun Chemical to launch AquaCure at FESPA Digital
Stand highlights will include the global launch of SunTex, the company’s new range of inkjet inks designed specially for textile and soft signage applications. Sun Chemical will also be showcasing its Streamline range of printer-compatible alternative solvent-based inks.
Two SunTex ink ranges will be demonstrated at the show. The first is a dye-sublimation ink for transfer print applications, which combines bright strong colours, dense black and a tough highly resistant ink film.
The second range shown will be a direct print dispersed dye ink for flag and banner applications, which the manufacturer said provides “excellent show-through” for double-sided output including flag printing, where the image is viewed from either side, and vibrant, strong colour and dense black reproduction, which is crucial for high visual impact soft signage.
Both inks should be printed onto polyester and polyester-rich textiles and materials.
Central to the SunJet offering will be the presentation of Aquacure, its next generation functional aqueous inkjet ink. This ink chemistry delivers performance and production benefits and provides an all-new development platform upon which new inks can be introduced to meet the future needs of the expanding wide format graphics sector.
Also new at FESPA Digital, Sun Chemical’s specialist global inkjet division SunJet will present the new AquacureT functional aqueous inkjet ink. This ink chemistry delivers performance and production benefits and provides an all-new development platform upon which new inks can be introduced to meet the future needs of the expanding wide format graphics sector.
Finally, Sun Chemical’s Streamline range of solvent-based alternative inkjet inks, designed for wide and superwide-format printers including Epson, Vutek, Roland, Mutoh and Mimaki, will also be on show at FESPA.
This will include the Streamline ESL2 low odour eco-solvent ink, which combines high print quality output with ultra-low odor properties, developed for Roland Pro 4 printers using Roland Ecosol Max 2 inks. These inks are particularly suited to enclosed print shop environments where low odor is essential.
Demonstrating its ongoing commitment to the super wide format solvent print market, Sun Chemical will feature Streamline TBJ, designed for the HP TurboJet. Streamline TBJ offers significantly reduced energy consumption through improved drying performance, improved overall ink consumption and reduced overspray.
The stand will also feature the Streamline SGX eco solvent, low odor inks series, developed to work with the high performance thin film piezo printheads for the Epson SureColor 70600 printer.
SunJet will highlight the capabilities of its joint development projects with OEM partners, system integrators and printhead manufacturers in a broad range of market sectors, including graphics, décor, textile, industrial and packaging.
Visitors will be able to learn more about the benefits of Aquacure, SunJet’s all-new approach to ink development based on aqueous chemistry combining the best of water-based and UV curing technology.

Folex details FESPA Digital product line-up
At the Folex booth (Hall 1, J51) the company will show a new UV ink compatible Roll Up PET film with its classic premium look silverback, light block finish. SI 564 offers a highly stable solution for displays that will create a truly professional impact, with a coating that offers very good ink adhesion to the substrate, when using UV inks.
The Tack family expands with a new clear PET film version in Tack S CL for solvent and Tack UV CL for UV inks. The product has a ultra-removable adhesive and can be applied and repositioned on many smooth different surfaces. Perfect for window graphics, point of sale and signage. This joins the existing PP white product which is produced in a water based or solvent version.
Among the new products which will be demonstrated is the ‘ReproJet’ series for pigment and eco-solvent inks, which offer the necessary resolution and high density for the most demanding screen, flexo and pad applications and the range is today the most extensive in the industry.
The company will also display materials with improved adhesion qualities, for use with UV inks. Membrane switch films and coated films for digital presses will also be on show.
Last year at FESPA’s biggest show in Cologne, Folex launched a range of new materials for high-speed inkjet printing, with a key focus being on users of Memjet printhead technology.
The firm said its newly developed nanoporous coating can be applied to a number of different substrate types, including PET, PP and vinyl.
Among the new products, which were being demonstrated on an RTI Vortex 4200 printer, were water resistant white glossy permanent self-adhesive vinyl SIVN and window graphic film SIGUV, which can be used with UV inks.
Folex Print On product manager Simon Warren said: “The feedback of the performance of the new materials has been extremely positive at FESPA.”
FESPA Digital 2016 will this year play host to a number of companies involved in the inkjet printing sector, each as keen as the other to show off their new products and demonstrate to visitors the various benefits of investing in their kits.
