B2B buyer also use Facebook
The idea that Facebook is unsuitable for B2B marketing is no longer valid. A quarter (24%) of business decision makers prefers Facebook as their channel of choice for finding information for their purchases. This makes Facebook more popular than Twitter or LinkedIn. This is the most important conclusion of the Changing for Influence report, a cooperation between international PR network Hotwire (represented in the Benelux by Yellow Communications) and researcher Vanson Bourne. Senior managers were questioned about the information channels they use when deciding on their purchases. The results contradict the generally accepted idea that Twitter and LinkedIn are the most effective channels for B2B marketing.
