Blendle is profitable in the Netherlands. This according to Alexander Klöpping in Business Insider. “Counting only all personnel working on the Dutch version and compare costs and profits we would be profitable”.

Germany and the US where Blendle is also available are not yet profitable.

Blendle, also called the iTunes of journalism, is a trendsetter in the media landscape. The company introduced a model for users to access content of hundreds of newspapers and magazines.
