Most Brits read their paper on phone
More than half of the readers of seven of the most popular newspapers in the United Kingdom appear to read the paper via their mobile phone only.
This was the result from research by the British National Readership Survey (NRS). The Independent has the biggest mobile audience. Nearly 80 of all their readers use mobile only.
But also publications like: the Daily Mirror, the Daily Telegraph and The Guardian, have acquired a bigger mobile readership than paper. Only The Times is far behind. Three quarters of their readership still prefer the paper version.
The NRS collected the date between July 2016 and June 2017.
