Commercial posts less visible on Facebook
Entrepreneurs who communicate their messages via Facebook are increasingly getting less exposure, according to research by SocialFlow. Commercial messages are less visible for Facebook users.
According to SocialFlow “organic reach” has dropped by 52% in the first six months of 2016, meaning posts which are not actively sought out.
Facebook has changed their algorithm for the dissemination of business information, which influences the change of commercial posts showing up in the stream. This now gives preference to content posted by friends, especially if this contains images or video.
By using more video entrepreneurs can profit from this as well. Their chances of being seen will increase. Expectations are that within 5 years the majority of Facebook posts will contain video.
