Energy generating pavements

EnGoPlant has introduced four smart street lamps in Las Vegas. The street lamps are being fed energy from specially constructed paving stones.
The lamps are also equipped with solar panels so the street lamps will be able to generate their own energy on most days in Las Vegas. For the days that there is not sufficient solar energy, EnGoPlanet has installed the paving stones which generate electricity by the pressure of people walking over them.  Watch the video below to see how this really works.
