Golden colour edged Dutch dictionary

pockets-productieIn honour of the 150th anniversary of Van Dale, the Van Dale pocket dictionaries Dutch, English, French and German have received a festive look.  A golden colour edged celebratory limited edition will be available from today.

The pictures show how the books have been produced. Publisher Jaap Parqui: “I didn´t know it, but colour edging is done by spraying paint on the outside of the books. And for such a large edition! It is always exciting to see if books turn out as beautiful as intended by the designer. I would say: go and have a look in the shop. Even though in the end it is about the contents, the cover is also important!” Price per dictionary is € 9,99 for Dutch and € 10,99 for the other languages. Van Dale products are available in book shops as well as via www.vandale.nl
