Mobile roaming costs to be abolished within EU

belleneuPer 15 June 2017 so-called roaming costs will be abolished within the EU. From next summer we should be able to use mobile phones for calls and internet use without any extra charges. European Commission´s vice-president Digital Single Market Andrus Ansip announced this last Wednesday. Telecom companies will have the option to curb unlawful use. How this will work exactly is not known yet.
