Online media spendings increasing
The digital advertising market grew 7% in the first half year of 2015 compared to the same period last year. A total of 744 million Euro was spent on online advertising the first half year of 2015.
Total advertising spendings remained the same, because the traditional media (radio, tv and print) saw their advertising income decrease. This was announced today by Deloitte in their Online Ad Spend Study, requested by IAB Netherlands.

Video advertising grew by 26% and social advertising grew by 38% in the first half year of 2015 (compared to the same period last year). A total amount of 58 million Euro was spent on advertising via LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
The fact that mobile advertising is growing (+54%) fits the trend that consumers are more and more dependent on information from their tablet and smartphone.
