Selling second hand ebooks okay

E-book webshop Tom Kabinet is allowed to continue to offer second hand e-books. The courts in The Hague did not have any issues with Tom Kabinet´s business model. The Dutch Publishers Association (NUV) has been tried to sue Tom Kabinet for a number of years now. The association wants the webshop to stop its activities. Tom Kabinet was offering e-books of which the origin was unclear and part of which may have been illegal, according to a previous judge. Since 2015 the site has changed it processes. It is still unclear if the webshop is complying with the law. The judge has sent a few questions onto the European courts.
