The history of web design and what it can teach us

FastCompany published John Brownlee´s overview in 9 GIFs, from the first Hello World text which was the beginning of the web, up till the little pieces of art made with responsive design viewable on our mobile devices. What we can learn from this overview is that technology is important, but it is creativity which adds the practical and aesthetic value. The GIFs show how Flash, Javascript and CSS changed the web and became a competitor to paper in the dissemination of information and relaxation.
